Mekelle University Graduates of PWD's ... |
Seven Members Veterans graduated in bachelor of ART in various disciplines from Mekelle University. One of the Veteran, Shewit Hagos, was fully sponsored by TDVA to have a pocket money of 150.00 birr/month and other assistances like transportation facilities. The other graduates freely sponsored by the university and TDVA in its part provide pocket money of 15.00 Birr/month for each one of them. All the graduates finished their college education. They belive that their psychological readiness and strength is a key for their success.

To congratulate the disabled veterans TDVA organized a congratulation party. During the event a statement from the organization underlines and call about the other fellow PWDs to follow the foot print of the graduates. TDVA ensures in it’s part for the commitment of the organization to continue assisting the veterans through its comprehensive program package. [August 2007]
Nicolas primary and secondary school is under construction ... |
Continuing their assistance Rainbow4Children is funding the construction of new elementary school with a vision of developing the formerly established Nicolas KG up to a Technical /Vocational/ training center. The founders Mr. Max Robinson and Ms Kathryn Robinson put a corner stone for the construction of the school on May 25, 2007. According to TDVA project coordination division head, the elementary school is expected to begin its operation i.e. Grade 1-2 as of September, 2007.


All necessary premises are under construction and technical staffs are already hired. Like the KG it is aimed at creating access to basic education for destitute children of disabled veterans and the near by community.

Two destitute children sponsored ... |
A nine years old child from North America sponsored two destitute children. TIRSIT via her father Ato LEAKE communicated TDVA officials and sponsored TESFU, who have a mobility problem to have an artificial orthopedics appliances and SELAMAWIT, to have educational assistance to. The beneficiary children and their care givers in their part express their indebtedness for the generous deeds of TIRSIT and her father. [August 2007]
