The diaspora continues to express its assistance ...

The Diaspora continues to express its assistance being actively involved in all program activities of TDVA. Those community members from North America, Canada, Germany, Seweden and Far East countries, visit some of the projects in Mekelle town carried out by TDVA.

The visitors who express their support came to their home land to celebrate the new Ethiopian millennium. According to them they want to refresh their commitment having being working together for the betterment of the disabled veterans and their families. TDVA representative in his part asks the Diasporas' collaboration in the up coming fund raising program which will be held in partnership with Union of Tigriean North America (UTNA) and work in their part to send their might in what ever way towards realizing the organizations objective..

Basic business skill training...

Basic business skill training together with a special cooperatives development package is provided to more than 200 cooperative representatives engaged in various activities in all zones of Tigray region. The training is organized by TDVA in collaboration with USAID under a fixed grant agreement signed in July 2007.

The training focus on the frequently asked questions and problems areas identified during the preliminary assessment conducted before the commencement of the project. It encompasses organizational development, financial and marketing undertakings and preparations of a plan. The trainings are conducted together with the regional micro and small enterprises development agency and regional cooperatives development bureau.

Feven Ayele founder of Tigray-Ethiopia Help for Self-Help Association ...

Feven Ayele founder of Tigray-Ethiopia Help for Self-Help Association donated different prosthetic appliances and sponsored education expense of four orphans. Feven has signed a promising note by the name of her organization to continuously assist orphans and disabled veterans. [September 2007]
